Today, Emma learned that a penny and outlets don't mix. She was playing with a penny, pushing it up and down the wall. It dropped out of her hands and landed between the outlet and the phone plug. (What's the likeliness of that to happen?) Sparks started flying and smoke started to fill the air. Luckily, no one got hurt. It frightened Emma a little. Hopefully she learned her lesson that electricity can be dangerous. Now, we are looking for a new phone, since the penny was
attached to the prongs of the plug and left bits of metal melted on it. I'm just glad that it didn't start a fire.

Ever so glad the fire didn't cause any permanent damage! Poor kid - electricity not so fun when it's unplanned and unwanted!
scary! I'm glad she didn't get burned or shocked.
