Mike went to an education symposium in Las Vegas and I got to go with him! It was kinda sad doing all the guest events while my hubby was in class but I got over it. I went to the Hoover Dam, Ethel M chocolate factory and cactus gardens on Monday. Tuesday I went to the Shark aquarium at Mandalay Bay and the Springs Preserve. The shuttle guide also drove down the strip and told some fun facts about vegas. Then Wednesday, Mike and I went to Phantom of the Opera at the Venetian. It was so awesome! Mike and I walked the strip and watched the volcanic eruption at the Mirage and the water show at the Bellagio. We were hoping to see the Pirate show at Treasure Island but due to technical difficulties it was cancelled. We really had fun and wanted to stay longer. The weather was so nice we only wore jackets at night. On the flight back it started to rain and when we got home we had flurries. Waking up to 4+inches of snow was very unexpected. Thats what you get for living in UT.
